About the Product Family
The TEFABLOC® series from Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers incorporates several thermoplastic elastomers, including TPE-S (styrene block copolymer), TPO (crosslinked olefin-based TPEs) and TPC (thermoplastic copolyesters). They combine the advantages of elastomers, like flexibility at low temperatures and high resilience, with those of thermoplastics, like higher temperature resistance, chemical resistance and processing via injection moulding.
Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers specialises in TPEs for applications in the automotive, consumer goods, electrical and electronics industries. Exemplary applications are soft grips for electrical devices, door and window sealings as well as automotive interior components like knobs or buttons and automotive exterior sealings.
