About the Product Family
Hifax from LyondellBasell offers a great balance between stiffness and impact strength. The polypropylene compound (PPC) is mainly used for vehicle exterior applications. A semi-crystalline polypropylene (PP) is used as the base material for Hifax. LyondellBasell’s Hifax product group comprises homopolymers and copolymers.
We offer a wide range of Hifax grades from LyondellBasell. In addition to non-reinforced and reinforced products with mineral and glass fibres, which have a particular influence on stiffness, toughness, shrinkage and creep behaviour, the portfolio also includes easy-flowing, weight-reducing and elastomer-modified grades, as well as grades with metallic effect.
