M·BIOBASE®

M∙BIOBASE® compounds are sustainably certified and bio-based polypropylene solutions. The raw material sources for the PP are vegetable oil and fat waste generated in various processes, e.g. in the food industry. The ISCC PLUS certification guarantees the traceability of the sustainable material flow along the entire value chain.

Switching from conventional polypropylene to the sustainable variant is easy for processors, as the material can be used as a drop-in solution in production with little effort. The alternative material with a reduced carbon footprint offers consistent properties and is suitable for a wide range of applications.

M∙BIOBASE® PP is available both as a polypropylene homopolymer (PPH) and as a polypropylene copolymer (PPC). In addition to glass fibre reinforcement, PP injection moulding grades with wood fibre reinforcement are also available. The wood fibres come from sawmills and are not chemically pre-treated.
