About the Product Family
MEGOL™ are thermoplastic elastomers on a styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene basis (TPE-SEBS) from TRINSEO. Their hardness extends from 5 Shore A to 60 Shore D. The absence of double compounds in the elastomer ensures outstanding resistance to UV radiation and ageing. Due to the almost white basic colour, a broad colour palette is possible.
Additionally, MEGOL™ has excellent soft-touch haptics. Areas of applications in the automotiv idustry are both interior and exterior as well as under-the-hood components.
MEGOL™ from TRINSEO is applicable for the following 2K applications: PP, PE, EVA, PA6, PA66, PA12, PA612, PC, ABS, SAN, ASA, PMMA, PVC, PBT, PET, POM, PS.
