About the Product Family
APILON™ 52 are thermoplastic elastomers on a urethane basis (TPU) from TRINSEO, which are available as TPU Esther and TPU Ether. The hardness range of APILON™ 52 lies between 40 Shore A and 72 Shore D. It is distinguished by exceptional physical-mechanical properties that make the TPU unique with its toughness, abrasion resistance, flexibility and elasticity at different work temperatures. The material is suited for a variety of applications in the automobile interior, exterior and under-the-hood areas.
APILON™ 52 2K-applications from TRINSEO are applicable for the following materials: PC, ASA, ABS, TPU, PMMA, PA 6, PA 6.6, PVC.
