Business Management Training in Hamburg
At our headquarter in Hamburg, we offer vocational training as an industrial business management assistant, as a management assistant in wholesale and foreign trade and as a bachelor of business administration.
What do you need to successfully apply for a vocational training with us? We would like our applicants to have a higher education entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification. You should have a positive attitude, as well as a sense of commitment and willingness to assume responsibility. Your personal strengths also include teamwork skills, flexibility, reliability and motivation. A good grasp of spoken and written English and good communication skills are also an essential prerequisite for vocational business training.
Vocational Training as a Industrial Business Management Assistant (m/f/d)
The vocational training is three years max and takes place in a dual system both at our company and with accompanying teaching blocks at the Staatliche Handelsschule Schlankreye in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel. Because we are primarily involved in trading engineering plastics here in Hamburg, you will have the opportunity to experience the workings of a manufacturer of plastic compounds company directly on-site and to spend time in each individual department during a multiple-week placement at our sister companies AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH, PolyComp GmbH or K.D. Feddersen UK Ltd.
Bachelor of Business Administration (m/f/d)
You will complete this seven-semester dual-system training programme to become a management assistant in wholesale trade both at our company and through daytime courses and supplemental evening courses at the Berufsschule am Lämmermarkt . You absolve the additional training to become business economist in foreign tade in evening courses at the Hamburger Institut für Außenhandel am Lämmermarkt e.V. and the Bachelor of Business Administration at NOVI Hochschule in Utrecht (NL). A two-week certificate course entitled “Foreign Trade in the UK” in London in cooperation with the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce and the European College of Business and Management (ECBM) rounds out the vocational training. You will can also gain your first international experiences. A placement at one of our international subsidiaries is an integral part of your training.
