Who we are

We, K.D. Feddersen GmbH & Co. KG in Hamburg, are part of the Feddersen Group and specialise in the marketing and distribution of engineering plastics in Europe. With over 70 years of experience, we offer the plastics processing industry qualified expertise, customer-oriented service, and an efficient sales team.

As a distributor of plastics, we are a close partner to renowned, globally active manufacturers. We guarantee valuable solutions with branded products of the highest quality and provide individual, on-site advice. Our locations, as well as those of our subsidiaries, include Hamburg, Paris, Värnamo, London, and Vienna.

History

Our origins in trade

Karl Detlef Feddersen founded K.D. Feddersen & Co. in 1949 to trade in chemical products. The following year he acquired Norddeutsche Ueberseegesellschaft in Hamburg, a trading company for technical products. He recognised the signs of the times and added plastics to the portfolio in 1955, a material that was still quite new at that time. What began in 1949 as a small Hamburg trading company has today grown into an international group of companies.

In addition to our anchorage in Hamburg, we operate a strong network of locations in France, the UK, Scandinavia and Central and Eastern Europe.
