We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive and technically skilled Account Manager to strengthen our presence and drive sales growth in the dynamic markets of Romania and Bulgaria. This role is crucial for expanding our market share in the region, focusing on the technical sales of engineering plastics. 

Your responsibilities

  • Technical Sales & Consulting: Drive the technical sales of our comprehensive portfolio of engineering plastics to various industries (e.g., automotive, electrical & electronics, consumer goods).
  • New Business Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and acquire new customers and projects within the Romanian and Bulgarian markets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their technical requirements and business needs.
  • Price Negotiations: Lead and successfully close price negotiations, ensuring profitable sales agreements.
  • Project Management: Generate, develop, and manage sales projects from initial lead to successful closure, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sample Coordination: Oversee and provide technical guidance during the sampling and qualification phases of new materials for customer applications(in injection molding).
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and tailor sales strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate monthly sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation to management.
  • Sales Activities: Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer visits to promote our products and strengthen market presence.
  • Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support and collaborate with our technical service and product development teams to offer optimal solutions to customers.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Plastics, Chemical, Mechanical), Material Science, or a related technical field; alternatively, a business degree with strong technical affinity.
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in technical sales, preferably within the plastics, chemicals, or automotive industry.
  • Deep understanding of engineering plastics and their applications is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in new customer acquisition and project development.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with a high degree of initiative.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Romania and Bulgaria.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) & Native speaker of Romanian is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (Sales Force).
