About the Product Family
API L™ is a thermoplastic elastomer on block polyether-polyester basis (TPC) from TRINSEO. Its hardness range lies between 25 Shore A and 72 Shore D. The TPC is ideally suited for sophisticated components that also require maximum fatigue resistance, elasticity, toughness, tear strength and chemical resistance in high temperature ranges up to 120 °C. Corresponding application areas are, for example, cable sheathing, air ducts and seals in the engine compartment.
API L™ 2K-applications from TRINSEO are applicable for the following materials: PC, ABS, PC, PBT, PVC, PA, PET.
