In recent years, thermal management in conventional engine cooling systems of combustion engines has gained importance. The function of conventional thermostats, which control the engine temperature, has been replaced by so-called thermal management modules. These allow targeted control of the engine temperature depending on the load and operating conditions that occur.

This means that the engine temperature is electronically controlled by a map. The focus here is on increasing efficiency through flexible adjustment of the coolant flow and the coolant temperature.

Hostacom EKG 2087T (BLACK) is a 30 % short glass fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP) copolymer. The pp compound delivers superior performance in terms of creep resistance compared to standard grades. It can be used in a variety of under the hood applications, especially those with coolant contact.
