TRINSEO is a global producer of plastics, latex binders and synthetic rubbers. In May 2021, TRINSEO officially took over the entire PMMA business with the ALTUGLAS™ brand from the company Arkema. Our portfolio includes general purpose PMMA, chemically resistant and impact-modified PMMA, light-diffusing PMMA and PMMA with frost effect or grades in special colours. ALTUGLAS™ R-Life completes the portfolio with sustainable PMMA.

In 2017, TRINSEO acquired the TPE manufacturer Applicazioni Plastiche Industriali (API), integrating 60 years of expertise in TPE and TPU compounds into its product portfolio. We supply you with options for your applications based on TPS, TPO, OBC, TPV, TPC or TPU as well as colour masterbatches. Sustainable TPE and TPU solutions are also available.

We offer PMMA and TPE solutions for the automotive industry, household appliances, consumer electronics, mechanical engineering, electrics & electronics, lighting technology and many other areas of application – for both injection moulding and extrusion.
