With Hostacom, LyondellBasell offers one of the most comprehensive ranges in the group of polypropylene compounds (PP). The base material for Hostacom is a semi-crystalline polypropylene (PP). LyondellBasell’s Hostacom product group comprises homopolymers and copolymers.

In addition to unfilled and filled products with mineral, glass, carbon and natural fibres, which primarily affect stiffness, toughness, shrinkage and creep behaviour, our distribution portfolio also includes easy-flowing, foamable, weight-reducing and elastomer-modified Hostacom grades. Additional treatments for special applications in the automotive and electrical sectors, such as UV or heat stabilisation, round off the portfolio.
