The polycarbonate from Idmitsu has many outstanding properties and a chain-shaped molecular structure that is thick and flexible. Tarflon™ is known for its high impact strength, good transparency and high heat resistance.

Different Grades of Polycarbonate Available

The PC range includes transparent standard grades as well as UV-modified grades for injection moulding. In addition, some are approved for food contact. The flame-retardant grades are available unreinforced and transparent or with glass fibre reinforcement.

Light-reflecting and light-diffusing polycarbonate grades for lighting applications complete our portfolio. Light-diffusing Tarflon™ is particularly appreciated by the automotive industry and is used in various vehicle classes, e.g. for ambient lighting.
