About the Product Family
VANDAR® PBT HI grades from Celanese combine the properties of high strength and rigidity with outstanding resistance to chemicals and heat distortion. At temperatures well below freezing, VANDAR® polyester grades still maintain their high impact strength, while glass-fibre reinforced VANDAR® products offer higher strength and toughness even over a wide temperature range from -40° to 130°C.
VANDAR® blends from Celanese are easy to process in injection moulding and the moulded parts can be painted well. VANDAR® PBT grades are available unfilled, with glass-fibre or mineral reinforcement, or flame retardant.
