Train Line Gartenbahnen, based in Hiddenhausen in the Herford district, is specialised in the development and assembly of high-end garden railways. Until recently, the company had always had plastic components for locomotives, carriages and tracks supplied by a subcontractor firm. To increase its independence, represent the entire value-added chain and, in particular, optimise quality aspects and delivery times, the company decided to become involved in the injection-moulding business. An authentic historic replica of a V3 diesel locomotive required cogwheels, windows, a floor panel, an engine mount and wheels in a 1:22.5 scale, or G gauge. K.D. Feddersen is the distributor for Teijin Polycarbonate and its compounds

During the Fakuma show 2012 the cooperation was confirmed – K.D. Feddersen will start its marketing and distribution activities for the products Panlite® (PC) and Multilon® (PC-ABS) from Teijin in Europe. The distributor who has its focus on technical resins is distributing these products now exclusively in Germany, Austria and in Switzerland.
